This Season

Cool. I was just browsing J.Crew's bridal gowns and came across this one. It's very similar to mine but a whole lot less, $395! Nice and simple, all it needs is the right accessories.

Last Season

I was jus going through some of the photos I saved during the planning of my own wedding an I came across this dress by J. Crew from last season. I wanted it so bad! The neckline and puff sleeves are to chic yet so simple, and the fabric, I love the fabric. I checked e-bay, no luck. I even considered having it reproduced by a seamstress. I definately ended up with the right one for me but I would just love to see a real bride wearing this beautiful dress.

1950's Pink Eyelet Dress

This cute little dress from Posh Girl Vintage would make a rad summer wedding dress!

You could be an "Offbeat Bride"

We still can't get enough of the "wedding porn" found at Offbeat Bride. We tune in everyday to see what Ariel has in store next, real weddings, common since advice, male flower girls. An author and offbeat bride herself, Ariel wrote the book Offbeat Bride: Taffeta-Free Alternatives for Independent Brides, part autobiography part guidebook. This website is an awesome source for endless inspiration. Even if you don't consider yourself 'offbeat' you should check it out, you might surprise yourself.

fun bridesmaids gifts

I wanted to do something extra special for my ladies for their bridesmaids gift so I had this caricature made for them.

I couldn't wait to give it to them!

The caricature was done by Melita Lewis of YourCaricature.com
She was so easy to work with, we did all of our communicating via e-mail. I couldn't have imagined for a better end product.

They loved them!
